Learn the basics of black & white photography in this 3-night introductory workshop. By the end of the course you will understand the parts and functions of the 35mm camera, how to process films, print from negatives and mat your images for exhibition. All skill levels are welcome to attend.

Master the ultimate photographer’s tool: Photoshop. Designed for novice and advanced users alike, this workshop will teach you easy approaches to some of the most expert Photoshop techniques. Once you see how your photos improve with our special tricks you’ll wonder how you’ve survived this long without them! Basic Photoshop knowledge required. Bring your own images, preferably portraits, as JPEGs, TIFFs or PSDs.

Experience the glamour of studio photography. Work with a digital camera in MCG’s professionally equipped photo studio and produce special images for that special someone. All skill levels welcome.

EXPERIMENTAL DARKROOM

Don’t stay in the dark about darkroom techniques! Come develop your photography darkroom skills in this
3-night workshop. Experiment and learn different methods including photograms, selective developing, and solarization. Please bring your own negatives.
