Course Description-
This course will explore the idea of natural and surreal imagery inspired by the visiting artist exhibitions during the winter season at the MCG Galleries. Using a 35mm and large format cameras with a combination of alternative processes we will generate a fun and unique group of photographs. The course will also include constructing a pinhole camera and experimenting with various darkroom techniques. To tie the course into the spirit of the holiday season the images we create will be used to make holiday cards, a calendar, post cards and other such items. Spend the winter months cozy in the photography lab generating memorable works.
