FIRST QUARTER

Ready for Spaghetti
Instructor: Jamie Mattews
7 weeks: Tuesdays, September 12 – October 24

If you can use it, you can make it. In this class you will explore hand-building techniques to create forms that are linked to a specific function; a bowl for rice, a platter for turkey, a planter for flowers, whatever you can think of! Open to all students.

Iconic Images
Instructor: Amanda Wolf
7 weeks: Wednesdays, September 13 – October 25

Can one image communicate your identity? That’s the goal in this class. Design images that define you and learn how to transfer them to your hand-built pots using two interesting techniques, print gocco and toner transfer. Open to all students.

Whoa! I Can Throw
Instructor: Dave Deily

7 weeks: Thursday and Friday, September 14 – October 27
Yes you can! You can throw! Get extra time in this class which meets two days in a row every week. You’ll use the potter’s wheel to create functional pottery and sculptural forms. It’s a challenging and fun process and in this class, you’ll get twice as much time to practice! Open to all students.
