Animation from Still Images
10 week course
Class meets: Mondays, September 12 - November 14

Use still digital images with narration to tell a story. You will learn to shoot your images and edit them in Photoshop. They will then be imported into Adobe Premiere along with recorded narration. The fun thing about using stills to tell a story is that you can use stuffed animals or action figures as your characters! No previous experience needed.


Portraiture in Photoshop
5 week course
Section 1 Class meets: Tuesdays, September 13 - October 11
Section 2 Class meets: Tuesdays, October 18 - November 15

This course will introduce you to the foundations of digital imaging. Learn how to use a digital camera, take unusual portraits of people, and import your images into Adobe Photoshop to edit and enhance them. No previous experience needed.


Cirque Du Claymation
10 week course
Class meets: Tuesdays, September 13 - November 15

This is a cross discipline course held in conjunction with the ceramics studio. See description under Ceramics.

Animation and Environmental Sound: Circus Scenery
10 week course
Class meets: Wednesdays, September 14 - November 16

Imagine circus scenery filled with vibrant activities - acrobats, jugglers, clowns, high wire walkers and magicians. Use Macromedia Flash to create an animated circus scene. Fill the air with your own musical compositions using Yamaha keyboards and computer audio software. No previous music experience is necessary.
