Enrollment in Apprenticeship Training--MCG's award winning after-school program for high school students--is simple. Courses begin the week following students' attendance and participation in a mandatory enrollment and orientation session.
Students can select from an array of process- and concept-focused courses in Ceramics, Design Arts, Digital Arts and Photography. Each course meets one day per week for either 7 or 14 weeks. During the enrollment session students complete a form including their contact information and repsond to a survey regarding their personal, artistic, career and educational aspirations.
Once the student selects and is accepted into a course, they must commit to following MCG's guidelines for behavior and class participation by signing our Honor Code. Students will also need to submit a Parent/Guardian Consent packet before classes begin. This packet includes parent/guardian consent forms, medical history form, a photo and video release form and a parent/guardian survey. To download a PDF of the Parent/Guardian Consent packet, please click here.
Students may select several courses within a single studio or enroll in courses across disciplines as long as they can maintain their commitment to attendance and participation.
