Wheel-istic Healing
Tuesdays, 6 – 9 pm, March 25 – May 27, 2008 (10 classes)
Instructor: Jamie Matthews
Harness the healing powers of the potter’s wheel in this course for all skill levels. Beginners will learn the techniques necessary to throw a pot: centering, pulling, lifting the pot off the wheel and trimming. Intermediate students will work on individual projects to advance their knowledge. Experienced potters will further develop and refine their throwing skills. Decorative surface treatments including slips, carving and glazing will also be covered.
