Life Behind the Lens
Wednesdays, 6 – 9 p.m., September 17 – November 19, 2008 (10 classes)

You don't have to be a world-renowned filmmaker to produce a documentary. Even if your experience is limited to filming birthday parties and family vacations, you have already taken the first steps! After discussing and watching examples of different techniques, you will combine moving footage, stills and audio to create a documentary short on the subject of your choice. Don't worry about equipment--we'll provide everything that you'll need. No prior experience necessary. You are welcome to bring pre-shot footage, but be sure to come with an idea!
