Step into the future of photography and create panoramas using the GigaPan—a robot developed by CMU’s robotics institute! Join us to take advantage of Pittsburgh’s “big” photo opportunities. Whether it’s one of the culturally rich neighborhoods, a lush park or one of the many bridges that span our three rivers, the possibilites are as wide as your imagination. Capture images around our city and then return to MCG’s digital photo lab to transform them into large-scale prints or post them on the web as interactive photos. All skill and experience levels will enjoy combining the art of the panorama with robotic technology to create unique, eye-catching images.
