Fine Tune Your Figure Drawing

Mondays, 6–9 p.m., September 15 – 29, 2008 (3 classes)

It doesn’t matter if your drawing is a stick figure or the Vitruvian man-this figure drawing class will help people of all experience levels brush up and perfect their drawing skills. A combination of guided practice and free studio time will help you learn essential fundamentals and then perfect your technique on your own. Draw inspiration from a real model—starting with short and quick gestural sketches to longer poses for more realistic compositions. From the novice to the advanced, all are welcome to join us as we explore different media and watch drawings transform from basic shapes and lines to realistic figures.
Tuition: $45 + Materials Fee: $40 = $85 total*
Pittsburgh Public Schools teachers eligible for tuition discount and Act 48 credits.
