Acoustic Alchemy
Wednesdays, 6 – 9 p.m., April 15 - 29 (3 classes)

Through the magic of digital technology, music creation is now accessible to everyone! Whether you're an amateur wanting to improve your skills as a modern audiophile or you're an educator seeking new creative tools for the classroom--now is the perfect time to come to MCG where we will stabilize our skills in the art of song creation using loops. Working with Sony Acid Music Studio software, in just 3 classes we will produce and compile our own albums on CD. From jazz to hip hop, country to latin, and symphony to cinema soundtracks we have a full stock selection of loops in our hat. All skill levels are encouraged to participate in this experience guaranteed to expand your musical bag of tricks!

Tuition: $45 + Materials Fee: $15 = $60 total*
Classes may satisfy Act 48 credits, and Pittsburgh Public Schools teachers eligible for tuition discount.

Class sizes are limited. Advance registration is required. Please include payment with your registration form. Fees are non-refundable following the first class meeting.
