Video Memoirs
Wednesdays, 6 – 9 p.m.,

Instructor: Jill Wiggins
Take time out of your hectic life and reflect on what matters most to you. Learn to express your personal philosophies and life experiences using still images, video, and narration. Gain skills in basic image editing using computer software like Photoshop as well as video and sound editing using Premiere Pro. At the end of this course you will have a video documentary to share a window into your soul. No experience is necessary, and all equipment will be provided.
Tuition: $120 + Materials Fee: $45 = $165 total*
Class sizes are limited. Advance registration is required. Please include payment with your registration form. Fees are non-refundable following the first class meeting.

WINTER TERM CLASSES
Life in Pixels
Wednesdays, 6 – 9 p.m.,
February 17 - April 21 (10 classes)
Instructor: Jill Wiggins
Discover the endless possibilities of Photoshop: from color correcting yellowed photographs and magically removing scratches, to creating tabloid forgeries! Begin with the basics and build a solid foundation of fundamental skills including layering and selection tools. Expand your repertoire and finish the course with your own perspective drawing featuring lighting effects and a promotional poster made with brushes and text techniques—all produced using Photoshop. One week will be dedicated to student-requested topics so come prepared to suggest something that you want to learn. Everyone will leave the course with a CD of his/her work.
Tuition: $150 + Materials Fee: $55 = $205 total*
*Classes may satisfy Act 48 credits, and Pittsburgh Public Schools teachers eligible for tuition discount ($167.50 total for qualifying PPS teachers).
